Rachel and Marc are siblings and co-founders of Eleanor’s Coconut Cream.

Growing up, our family valued new experiences, especially culinary ones. We learned to love trying new foods, discovering new flavors, and meeting new people along the way.

On a trip to visit Rachel and her family in California, Rachel's daughter Eleanor, insisted they take Marc to her favorite Taiwanese ice cream spot in San Francisco. We were inspired by the experience and decided to try making our own.

More than 200 experimental recipes later, we had something we both loved, and wanted to share.

Every recipe led us down a path of research and learning: what goes into our food, why it’s there, and, just as importantly, what doesn’t need to be there. Along the way, we developed a desire to create something simple and thoughtfully made without sacrificing the thing that matters most: it has to be delicious.

We didn't set out to create a dairy-free ice cream. It simply turned out to be what tasted the most delicious to us.

We're still learning, experimenting, and educating ourselves about food—and we want to share what we discover along the way.

And Eleanor? She claims full ownership of the company and tells all her friends they can have free Coconut Cream for life.
