Rachel and Marc are siblings and co-founders of Eleanor's Coconut Cream.
Growing up our family valued new experiences, especially culinary experiences. We grew to love trying new foods and meeting new people. While visiting Rachel’s family, Eleanor (Rachel’s daughter) took Marc to her favorite Taiwanese shaved ice in San Francisco. We were inspired to make our own.
Over 200 experimental recipes later, we had something we both loved and wanted to share. Each recipe trial led us down a path of research and learning. What goes into our food and why, often learning what shouldn’t go into our food. We developed a desire to create something simple and clean, while still tasting delicious. We did not set out with the intention of a dairy free dessert, it simply was what tasted the most delicious. We want to continue in our education about food and share what we learn!
Eleanor claims full ownership and tells all her friends they can have free coconut cream for life.
